Adam Stanisław Szejnfeld (born November 13, 1958 in Kalisz ) is a Polish politician of the Platforma Obywatelska ( Civic Platform ). From 2007 to 2009 he was Deputy Minister of Economy of Poland .

Life

Adam Szejnfeld studied at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan , which he graduated in 1997 with a master's degree in law . From 1976 to 1980 he was employed by the combine PGR Noteć , an agricultural enterprise. In 1979 he moved to the PGR Strzelce combine , where from 1980 to 1981 he was head of the works committee of the newly founded Solidarność union . From 1988 to 1990 Szejnfeld worked in a private company. On June 1, 1990, he became mayor of the city and municipality of Szamocin and remained so until July 1, 1994. He was then a member of the city council until 1998. From 1995 to 1997 he was also employed at the Wielkopolska agency for trade and services, Helper . From 1996 to 1997 Szejnfeld was a consultant for the Union insurance agency in Poznan .

In 1997 he stood in the parliamentary elections for the Unia Wolności ( Freedom Union ) and was able to win a seat in the Sejm . He was vice-chairman of the Commission on Small and Medium Enterprises and the Poland- China bilateral group . In the 2001 parliamentary elections , Adam Szejnfeld was able to win a mandate again, now for the newly founded citizens' platform, in the Piła constituency with 9,290 votes . He remained deputy chairman of the Enterprise Commission, but continued to become chairman of the Economic Commission and chairman of the Polish- Indian group. He was also a member of the Council for Tourism at the Ministry of Economy. After the 2005 elections , where he received 26,568 votes, Szejnfeld remained chairman of the bilateral Polish-Indian group, became deputy chairman of the economic commission and chairman of the tourism commission. In the early parliamentary elections in 2007 , he entered the constituency of 38 Piła and was able to move back into the Sejm with 57,343 votes. On November 20, 2007, he became State Secretary , equivalent to the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Economic Affairs. In October 2009, he submitted his resignation as deputy minister.

In the 2014 European elections Szejnfeld was the European Parliament voted.

Adam Szejnfeld is married.
