Adam Tensta (born August 1, 1983 in the Stockholm district of Tensta ; real name: Adam Momodou Eriksson Taal) is a Swedish rapper . His debut album It's a Tensta Thing won the Swedish Grammis Music Award in 2008 in the Dance / Hip Hop / Soul Album category.

Tensta's song My Cool was named one of MTV's Top 100 Songs of 2007. American blogger Perez Hilton blogs regularly about Adam Tensta’s music. At the MTV Europe Music Awards 2008 he was nominated in the category Best Swedish Act , but lost to Neverstore . Tensta opened the Good Girl Gone Bad Tour of Rihanna at all European dates outside the UK. In March 2011 Adam Tensta had an appearance on the German online television format Shut up . His music was selected for the Street fighter III: 3rd strike and NBA2K10 video games.
