Adam Wingard (born December 3, 1982 in Oak Ridge , Tennessee ) is an American film director , screenwriter , cameraman and film editor .

Life

Wingard grew up in Oak Ridge, Tennessee and attended Full Sail University until 2002. His breakthrough came in 2007 with the slasher film Pop Skull . This was followed by other films belonging to the horror genre and the subgenre slasher film . He is often responsible for editing and scripting his films.
