Adam Wykręt

Adam Wykręt (born October 20, 1945 in Międzybrodzie Bialskie ) is a Polish politician of the Platforma Obywatelska ( Civic Platform ).

Life

In 1978 Adam Wykręt started his own pastry shop. In the early 1980s, he converted the company into a bakery. Today the company is called the Euro . From 2002 to 2007 he was a member of the Bielsko-Biała City Council as a representative of Sojusz Lewicy Demokratycznej ( Federation of the Democratic Left ), from 2006 to 2007 as Vice President. In the early parliamentary elections in 2007 Wykręt stood for the citizens' platform and was elected to the Sejm with 10,180 votes in the constituency 27 Bielsko-Biała . He has worked there since 2007 in the Commission for Health and since 2008 also in the Commission for Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism (as of 2009).

Adam Wykręt is one of the founders of the Bielsko-Biała bread bank , which supports the needy. He has three children and one son runs his company today (2009).
