The Adelaide River is a river in the southwest of the Australian state of Tasmania .
geography
The river has its source on the northern slopes of the Everlasting Hills in the northern part of the Franklin Gordon Wild Rivers National Park . From there it flows to the northwest and flows into the Loddon River about three kilometers south of the Franklin Hills .
