Adelheid Eichhorn

Adelheid Eichhorn (born November 15, 1947 in Rudolstadt as Adelheid Volkstedt ) is a German painter , graphic artist and book illustrator .

Life

Eichhorn studied from 1967 to 1972 at the Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst Leipzig (HGB) in the class of Werner Tübke and Rolf Kuhrt . Kuhrt supported Eichhorn's affinity for poetry. The focus of her diploma thesis was on drawings of Pushkin. In 1972 she received her diploma in painting and graphics and lives as a freelance artist in Rudolstadt and Leipzig .

In 1972 she married the painter and graphic artist Ulrich Eichhorn (* 1944) and began to illustrate lyrical works . From 1973 she contributed to volumes of the poetry series Poetry Album Graphics. In 1993 Adelheid Eichhorn received teaching assignments for painting and graphics at the Jena University of Applied Sciences . In 1999 she realized the Weimar99 project, exhibition Klangfelder Erfurt. In 2001 she took part in the exhibition "Konkret-Informel" at the Kunsthaus Apolda .
