Adelheid von Waldeck

Adelheid von Waldeck (* around 1264; † 1339/1342) was a daughter of Count Heinrich III. von Waldeck and his wife Mechthild von Arnsberg-Cuyk (also von Rietberg-Arnsberg). It came from the Waldeck family .

She married Simon I zur Lippe on November 24, 1276 and had the following children with him:

  • Bernhard (1277–1341), Prince-Bishop of Paderborn 1321–1341
  • Hermann († approx. 1324), cleric
  • Hendrik († approx. 1336), cleric
  • Diedrich († after September 8, 1326), knight in the Teutonic Order
  • Simon (around 1285–1334), buried in Marienfeld Monastery
  • Bernhard V. (* around 1290; † before 1365), Lord of Lippe (Rheda) 1344–1365 ∞ Richarda von der Mark (von Saffenberg)
