Adeline Schebesch
Adeline Schebesch (born January 8, 1961 ) is a German theater and film actress and voice actress.
During her school days she took part in several amateur productions on stage. After graduating from the Ohm-Gymnasium in Erlangen , she actually wanted to study chemistry and biology, but received an annual contract for the Erlangen Theater in der Garage (today: Theater Erlangen), which was decisive for her further career.
After a trip to Ireland to study English, she decided to pursue a career as an actress. She came to Vienna , where she was admitted to the Max Reinhardt Seminar, University of Vienna in 1983. She stayed in Austria for a total of 13 years before returning to Germany. There she worked on stages in Vienna, in a number of television productions as an actress and voice actor and as a radio play director at the ORF in Klagenfurt / Austria. In October 2004 she resumed studying at the Friedrich-Alexander University, Erlangen-Nuremberg, parallel to her acting profession. She completed the two main subjects Prehistory and Protohistory and Theater, Film and Media Studies in February 2012 with a Magister (MA) degree.
Since 1997 Adeline Schebesch has been a permanent member of the ensemble of the State Theater in Nuremberg . Her most successful productions there so far have been the vagina monologues (the production was awarded the Bavarian Theatertage Prize in 2002) and the tabloid comedy Bullets over Broadway by Woody Allen (entitled "Balls over Broadway"), for which she collaborated with her colleague Michael Hochstrasser received the Actor Award of the Bavarian Theater Days 1998. She recorded an audio book with stories by ETA Hoffmann for the Nuremberg State Theater . ( The stories of ETA Hoffmann , ISBN 3-9809296-0-4 )
In 2012 she was appointed chamber actress by the Board of Trustees of the State Theater Nuremberg.
