Adenízia Aparecida Ferreira da Silva (born December 18, 1986 in Ibiaí ) is a Brazilian volleyball player . She won the gold medal at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

Career

Silva started her career at Clube Filadélfia . In 1999 she came to the Osasco Voleibol Clube, where she first played in the youth team. In 2005 she won the World Cup with the Brazilian U20. In the same year, the middle blocker made her debut in the senior national team . In 2007 she moved up to Osasco's first team, which was the Brazilian Cup winner in 2008. In 2009 Silva won the Grand Prix and the South American Championship with Brazil . In 2010 she became Brazilian champions with the club. Internationally, she reached the final of the Grand Prix in the national team in 2010 and 2011 . At the South American Championship 2011, Brazil managed to defend their title. In 2012, Silva became champions for the second time with Osasco, but missed victory in the Grand Prix for the third time in a row internationally . She then took part in the Olympic Games in London and won the gold medal with Brazil.
