Adetomiwa Edun

Adetomiwa Edun , also known as Tomiwa Edun , (* 1984 in Lagos , Nigeria ) is a British - Nigerian actor who became known to a wide audience through his role as Sir Elyan in the TV series Merlin - The New Adventures .

life and career

Edun was born in Lagos, Nigeria, to a Nigerian father and a Ghanaian- British mother. The family moved to Great Britain at the age of eleven. Like his father, he was to become a banker and trained at Citigroup . But then he decided to become an actor and attended the Academy of Dramatic Art.

In 2009 he was featured in an episode of The Fixer . In 2010 he played Romeo in Shakespeare's Globe: Romeo and Juliet . From 2010 he was a permanent member of the series Merlin - The New Adventure . There he played a knight of the round table who is a close confidante of the king. From 2011 to 2012 he was one of the main characters in The Hour series . In 2012 he starred in the film Dara Ju .

He became known to a new audience through the role of Alex Hunter in the game mode "The Journey" of FIFA 17 , FIFA 18 and FIFA 19.
