The Adler Trumpf is a car model that the Frankfurter Adlerwerke produced . H. Kleyer offered from 1932. It had the same engines (1.5 liters or 1.65 liters displacement) as the sister model Primus , but in contrast to this front-wheel drive . The modern construction came from Hans Gustav Röhr . By 1936, 18,600 vehicles of the first versions had been sold.
Of the successor model 1.7 liter EV, which only appeared with the 1.65 liter engine, 7003 vehicles were built up to 1938. The differential gear in a block with a low-noise third gear was a special feature . The successor model from 1938 was the Adler 2 liter .
