from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Adolf Hitler thanks was launched in 1937 party's foundation of the Nazi Party , which was dedicated to the task of distressed winner of the Golden Party Badge of the NSDAP , the Blood Order of the party or other "deserving" party members or their dependents financially support in order to repair or alleviate the health or economic damage that affected them. In addition to the supporting foundation, the aid fund, from which the financial resources that benefited the groups of people mentioned, were distributed, was also referred to as Adolf Hitler's thanks.

The establishment of the Adolf-Hitler-Dank Foundation was ordered in April 1937 by Adolf Hitler himself on the occasion of his 48th birthday. This step probably went back to a suggestion by the Gauleiter of Munich-Upper Bavaria, Adolf Wagner .

In terms of administration, the foundation (or the aid fund) was affiliated with the NSDAP's relief fund , which in turn was subordinate to the Reich Treasurer of the NSDAP, Franz Xaver Schwarz , who had its headquarters as a separate main department in the Reich leadership of the NSDAP in the Brown House in Munich . The foundation administration processed relevant applications from eligible persons and paid one-off or ongoing grants or loans to them or third parties in whose interests applications were made. These were non-attachable and could not be offset against income for tax purposes. The foundation's assets amounted to 500,000 Reichsmarks .
