Adolf Bühler (civil engineer)
Adolf Bühler (born March 9, 1882 in Wollishofen , today Zurich , † September 7, 1951 in Bern ) was a Swiss civil engineer.
From 1900 to 1904 he studied civil engineering at the Polytechnic in Zurich . After working in Switzerland, Italy and Germany, he joined the bridge construction office at the SBB's general management in 1912 , where he became head of the bridge construction section in 1918. In 1937 he became Dr. hc from the University of Lausanne .
