Adolf Bannier

Adolf Bannier (born May 3, 1937 in Braunschweig ) is a German politician ( FDP ).

Bannier first attended elementary school in Brome and later switched to secondary school in Wittingen . After graduating, he began an apprenticeship as a bricklayer, which he successfully completed. This was followed by an engineering degree in Hamburg. After completing his studies, Bannier began working as an independent building contractor in Brome and opened retail stores in 1972 and 1985.

He began his political career in 1964 as a member of the Council of the Patch Brome. In 1974, when he became a member of the FDP, he became a member of the district council of Gifhorn. Here he was chairman of the FDP parliamentary group between 1986 and 1990. For the 12th electoral period from January 1, 1991 to June 20, 1994 he was elected a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament.
