from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Adolf Blomeyer (born January 15, 1900 in Ulenburg , † March 5, 1969 in Bünde ) was a German farmer and politician ( CDU ).

Life

Blomeyer, who owned and managed the manor house Beck as a farmer , served as honorary mayor of the Ulenburg community from 1929 to 1945 and from 1951 to 1968 .

During the time of National Socialism , Blomeyer was a local farmer. From 1933 to 1937 he was senior squad leader in a Minden SA unit , his application for membership in the NSDAP was rejected by the latter because Blomeyer was rooted in the Confessing Church . After he had campaigned for the clergyman Ernst Wilm , he was removed from his public office in 1942.

The North Rhine-Westphalian CDU nominated him in 1948 as East Westphalian mayor in the Parliamentary Council , in which his SA membership was discussed without consequences for him. In the federal election in 1949, he ran for one of the lower list places. Blomeyer continued to work in professional agricultural agencies.

Since 1919 he was a member of the Corps Vandalia Heidelberg .
