Adolf Grüzmann

Adolf Grüzmann (born August 31, 1808 in Saulgau ; † May 8, 1886 in Ludwigsburg ) was a Württemberg governor .

Life

Born as the son of a court notary, he attended the Latin schools in Riedlingen and Nürtingen as well as the seminar in Urach to study theology that was originally intended . From 1826 he studied philosophy , history and law and camera studies in Tübingen . During his studies he became a member of the Tübingen Commentburschenschaft in 1826 . From 1829 he worked as a clerk at the Heiligkreuztal camera office , from 1830 for a court notary and then in 1831 he was appointed chief actuary in Saulgau and Riedlingen. In Riedlingen he worked from 1832 to 1837 as a pawnbroker and then until 1843 he was the district administrator in Aulendorf . He was Oberamtmann in the Oberamt Tettnang (1843-1851), Oberamt Biberach (1851-1855) and in the Oberamt Ulm (1855-1865). In 1855 he was Councilor .
