Adolf Guder

Adolf Guder (born June 10, 1930 in Gelsenkirchen , † December 6, 1988 in Slidell , Louisiana, USA) was a German administrative lawyer .

Career

Guder received his doctorate in 1960 from the Faculty of Law at the University of Cologne . He was initially an alderman for the city of Herten . There he earned services in the redevelopment of the Herten city center and was involved in the planning of a school education and cultural center in the city center. On October 23, 1968 he was succeeded Louis Storck by the City Council of Hamelnelected to the office of senior city director. He held the position from November 16, 1968 to October 31, 1980. During this time, he was also chairman of the Hamelin Tourist Association. He was officially retired for health reasons before the end of his term. In 1982 he moved to the USA, where he died on December 6, 1988 at the age of only 58.
