Adolf Jewarowski

Adolf Jewarowski (* before 1930, † after 1938) was a German fencer who fought at the fencing club Hermannia Frankfurt . He was multiple German team champion and member of the national team in an international match.

Jewarowski first made it into the final round of the German individual championships in epee fencing in 1930 . Until 1937 he repeated this success several times with both a sword and a foil . With the team of the fencing club Hermannia Frankfurt he won the German team championships ten times ( 1931 , 1934 , 1935 and 1937 with the foil; 1930 , 1931 , 1937 and 1938 with the sword; 1934 and 1938 with the saber ).

In 1937 he was fourth at the Miller-Hallet sword tournament in London. In the same year he took part in an international match against Poland with Siegfried Lerdon , Erwin Hildebrandt and Erwin Kroggel , which was lost with 8: 8 victories because of the poorer hit ratio of 36:33. Jewarowski was able to win one of his individual bouts and lost three.
