Adolf Neeff

Adolf Neeff (born March 6, 1871 in Bietigheim , Württemberg ; † May 24, 1942 in Leutkirch im Allgäu ) was a German lawyer and writer .

Life

Adolf Neef studied law ; 1900 doctorate he attended the University of Tübingen Dr. jur. He then worked as a lawyer in Vaihingen an der Enz . In addition, he wrote collections of anecdotes and riddle books , which were widely distributed during the First World War in the series "German Soldier Books". Neeff also acted as the editor of popular classic editions.

Family background

Adolf Neeff was the son of Carl Neeff (1836–1921), pastor at the Hospital Church in Stuttgart and professor at the secondary school there. Adolf Neeff's mother was Martha Neeff geb. Werner (1842-1919). Adolf Neeff remained single all his life, but had seven adult siblings, four brothers and three sisters.
