Adolf Nekum

Adolf Nekum (born April 25, 1925 , † June 28, 2011 ) was a German homeland researcher who dealt with the history of the city of Bad Honnef .

Life

Nekum came from a family that had lived in Honnef for about 300 years and lived in the Selhof district . Based on a preoccupation with his family history, he became the author of numerous publications on the town history of Bad Honnef. On May 30, 1990, he was awarded the Rhineland Taler for his work as a local researcher in Siegburg , followed by the Mayor's medal of thanks to Nekum on December 15, 2000 for his services to the Selhofer Citizens' Association. Nekum belonged to the Wine Brotherhood Middle Rhine Siebengebirge on.

Nekum was buried in the New Cemetery in his hometown.
