Adolf Remy (born November 30, 1935 in Havixbeck ) is a German football coach and talent scout . After numerous coaching positions in Germany and abroad, he has been working as a talent scout for a player agency since 2001.
Career
During his training as a state-recognized sports teacher from 1962 to 1965 at the Sports University in Cologne , he began his training as a qualified football teacher in 1964, which he also completed in 1965. From 1965 to 1966 he worked as a sports teacher at the secondary school in Gütersloh. At the same time he was also working as a football teacher at SVA Gütersloh . From 1966 he was youth coordinator at Hamburger SV for two years . From 1968 to 1969 he coached HSV Barmbek-Uhlenhorst , before he came to VfR Heilbronn as a coach in 1969 , with whom he was promoted to the 2nd League South. In 1970 he moved as a coach to SV Arminia Hannover in the 2nd League North. After only one season, his path as coach and technical director led to the Austrian first division club SK Sturm Graz . After two years he moved to the same position at SC Eisenstadt . In 1973 he came back to Germany and became an association sports teacher at the Association of Berliner Ballspielvereine (VBB). In 1981 he took over the third division club SCC Berlin .
In 1984 Remy went abroad again and was the national coach of the People's Republic of China for a year before he returned to Germany and coached Tennis Borussia Berlin in the 1986/87 season . After his release there he took over the Turkish first division club Rizespor , which he looked after for two years. From 1990 to 1995 he worked as a coach for the Sumatra Football Association in Indonesia .
Today Remy works as a talent scout.
