The Veli Peak is a mountain summit of the Asgard Range in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises immediately east of Idun Peak and 1.5 km south of Brunhilde Peak .
The exact origin of the name given by the New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee is not known.
