Adolf Richter (born January 9, 1881 in Ebersbach , Preussisch Holland district , † 1928 there ) was a German politician (DNVP).

Live and act

After attending elementary school in Ebersbach, Richter received practical training as a farmer on various estates. In addition, he attended the agricultural winter school in Braunsberg, East Prussia, from 1897 to 1899 . From 1901 to 1903 he was a member of the 1st Guards Field Artillery Regiment in Berlin.

In 1905 Richter took over his parents' farm. In 1911 Richter founded the Ebersbach agricultural association, which he also chaired. He was also a long-time delegate in the horse breeding section and in the arable and livestock section. He also occasionally wrote newspaper articles on economic issues.

From 1914 to 1918 Richter took part in the First World War, in which he fought with field artillery in France and Russia.

After the war, Richter joined the German National People's Party (DNVP). In 1919 he was elected to the Weimar National Assembly, which represented constituency 1 (East Prussia) until June 1920. He then sat for eight months as a member of parliament for constituency 1 (East Prussia) for his party in the first regular Reichstag of the Weimar Republic , from which he retired prematurely in February 1921.
