Adolf Schliz (born March 11, 1813 in Ehingen an der Donau , † March 5, 1877 in Heilbronn ) was a city ​​doctor in Heilbronn.

Life

Adolf Schliz was the son of Ehingen chief bailiff Joseph Christian Schliz (1781–1861) and came with him to Heilbronn in 1822, where he became a doctor in 1843 and a city doctor in 1873. He was married to Pauline Wecker (1825–1900). In addition to their son Alfred Schliz (1849–1915), who later also worked as a city doctor, the marriage also had two daughters, Maria Charlotte Katharina (* 1848) and Pauline Caroline Mathilde (* 1858). Adolf Schliz was buried in the old cemetery in Heilbronn. After the death of his wife, his bones were transferred to the family grave in Heilbronn's main cemetery in 1900 . Both his tomb in the old cemetery and the family tomb in the main cemetery are among the most important tombs in Heilbronn.

In 1831 he became a member of the Germania Tübingen fraternity during his studies .
