Adolf Schub

Adolf Schub (born December 12, 1931 in Berlin ; † June 15, 2017 ) was a German civil engineer , construction manager and university professor .

Adolf Schub graduated in civil engineering from the Technical University of Munich in 1957 . In 1965 he became a Dr.-Ing. With the work Problems of cycle planning in construction production at the Technical University of Munich . PhD. He was a founding member and from 1969 to 2010 partner at Prof. Burkhardt Ingenieure GmbH in Munich and Berlin.

In 1965 he was offered a professorship for construction management planning at the Technical University of Munich. The main teaching and research areas were project planning and control, cost management and control as well as decision-based construction production planning, decision models and project management. He published numerous scientific papers.

Schub was a founding member of the German Society for Project Management and its board member from 1979 to 1983, later its honorary member.
