Adolf Teuscher

Adolf Teuscher (* 1883 in Pegau ; † 1970 ) was a German pedagogue in Dresden and lecturer at the Pedagogical Institute of the TH Dresden .

Teuscher began as a Saxon elementary school teacher who, after studying pedagogy and philosophy, received his doctorate at the University of Leipzig in 1911. As a supporter of the work school , he made a name for himself in 1926 when he presented a model school garden at the horticultural exhibition in Dresden . He also campaigned for open-air lessons and a special understanding of the human being at school. Teuscher taught at the Pedagogical Institute of the TH Dresden. In 1933 he became a member of the NSDAP .
