Adolf Trieb

Adolf Trieb (born May 27, 1874 in Landstuhl , † December 4, 1950 in Eppelsheim ) was a teacher with a commitment to the history of the Rhine-Hesse region and German songs.

Life

Trieb was the son of the bricklayer Philipp Jakob Trieb (1828–1910) and Maria Katharina, née Müller, (1834–1917). He was married to Katharina Kneller and they both had three children.

Trieb's main job was as a teacher in various places:

He appeared through the writing of several books on Rhine-Hessian history and German songs.

In 1970 a street in Worms-Ibersheim was named after him.
