Adolf of Daniel

Adolf Friedrich Daniel , from 1853 by Daniel , (born September 8, 1816 in Großgartach , † January 2, 1893 in Stuttgart ) was a Württemberg politician and senior bailiff.

Life and work

Adolf Daniel was the son of a bath and surgeon. From 1837 to 1840 he studied law and camera science at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen , in 1840 he passed the 1st and 2nd higher service exams. From 1840 to 1841 he was an assistant clerk in the government of the Black Forest district in Reutlingen and senior actuary in Hall . From 1842 to 1844 he worked as a chancellery assistant or ministerial secretary at the Interior Ministry in Stuttgart, from 1845 to 1846 as an assessor for the government of the Neckar District in Ludwigsburg . From 1846 to 1849 he was then Oberamtmann in Backnang and from 1849 to 1883 in Hall , since 1858 with the title and rank of government councilor. In 1883 he retired as a government director. During the 1850s he also acted as government commissioner in clearing the Bavarian-Württemberg border. In 1859 he was in charge of property purchases for the railway administration in the Schwäbisch Hall area.

From 1851 to 1855 Daniel was a member of the Backnang district in the second chamber of the Württemberg state parliament .
