Adolph Christian Avemann
Adolph Christian Avemann von Lettau (* 1646 in Eisenach ; † 1738 ) was a German lawyer and privy councilor in the Duchy of Saxony-Gotha-Altenburg .
Life
Avemann was the son of Gotha Chancellor Ernst Ludwig Avemann .
He studied law at the University of Utrecht . He then became a ducal civil servant , privy councilor and war councilor in the duchy of Saxe-Gotha-Altenburg under Friedrich II. And Friedrich III. In 1729 it was built as a residence in Siebleben near Gotha Castle Mönchhof .
He was married to Susanna Magdalena Ludolf, daughter of the Erfurt orientalist Hiob Ludolf . With her he had at least two sons: Ludwig Christian (adult 1723) and Heinrich Ludwig (1696–1761). The latter studied from 1715 in Jena , from 1719 in Halle and received his doctorate. He followed his father as a court official in Gotha and became a secret judicial and senior consistorial advisor .
On July 4, 1736 he received from Emperor Charles VI. his nobility renewal.
