Adrian Langbein

Adrian Johann Langbein (born July 30, 1796 in Gehren , † January 4, 1885 in Arnstadt ) was a German lawyer and politician . He was a member of the Schwarzburg Special Houses Landtag (1853-1865).

Life

Langbein was born the son of a mayor and studied law in Jena . During his studies in 1816 he became a member of the original fraternity . After his studies he was government lawyer and town clerk in Langewiesen and mayor there from 1823 to 1863. He was appointed Secretary in 1838 , Princely Council in 1853, and Council of Justice in 1869 . In 1853 he became a member of the Schwarzburg-Sondershäuser Landtag , to which he was a member until 1865, partly as Vice-President (1855 and 1857), later as President (1861–1863).
