Adrien Nieuwenhuys

Adrien Nieuwenhuys (born November 21, 1877 ; † unknown) was a Belgian diplomat .

Life

Adrien Nieuwenhuys entered the foreign service in 1902 and was accredited in Paris; from 1909 to 1914 he was first-class embassy secretary in Berlin. From late 1918 to 1920 he was chief of protocol in Brussels . In 1920 he was in Berlin d'affaires . From September 20, 1924, he was second class envoy in Luxembourg, where he was promoted to first class envoy in 1930. In Luxembourg he was accepted into the Order of the Oak Crown with a Grand Cross and in Belgium into the Order of the Crown .

On January 11, 1936, he was accredited as envoy in Vienna.

On September 14, 1939 he was appointed as envoy to Pius XII. accredited.
