According to the Swiss national map, the Adula Group is the chain from the Puntone dei Fraciòn ( 3202 m ) to the Plattenberg ( 3041 m ) in the Adula Alps . Geologically, this mountain group gives its name to the Aduladecke .
According to SOIUSA , the Adula group is the super group 10.III B and consists of the following mountain groups:
- Rheinwaldhorn group (B.3)
- Group Güferhorn - Fanellhorn (B.4)
- Group Zapporthorn - Groven (B.5)
- Fraciòn - Torrone Alto group (B.6)
The group lies on the border of the Swiss cantons of Ticino and Graubünden . The most important mountains are Rheinwaldhorn , Güferhorn and Fanellhorn .
