Aemilian Edlauer

Aemilian Edlauer (born July 28, 1882 in Weidling , † March 1, 1960 in Vienna ) was an Austrian malacologist and mollusc collector.

Life

Edlauer worked professionally as a consultant for the Danube-Save-Adria Railway Company .

As a malacologist, Edlauer researched molluscs and collected their shells. He helped numerous other researchers, but was only involved in two publications himself. From 1950 he was the correspondent of the Natural History Museum in Vienna, to which he bequeathed his collection in his will.

He was buried in the Weidlinger Friedhof .
