Aerospace Walk of Honor
The Aerospace Walk of Honor is located in Lancaster, California and honors US test pilots who have contributed to aerospace research and development.
The award was launched in 1990 by the City of Lancaster. There are four test flight facilities near Lancaster, in the Antelope Valley : US Air Force Plant 42, Edwards AFB , Mojave Air & Space Port and Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake.
The Walk of Honor is located on Lancaster Boulevard between Sierra Highway and 10th Street. The winners will be honored with granite monuments along Lancaster Boulevard.
The construction and maintenance of the monuments and other activities related to the Walk of Honor are supported by several aviation companies, including Boeing , Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman .
