Arent de funds
Arent de Gelder , also Aert de Gelder (born October 26, 1645 in Dordrecht , † August 1727 ibid) was a Dutch painter .
Life
Gelder was initially a pupil of Samuel van Hoogstraten and then went to Amsterdam, where he worked for Rembrandt from around 1661 to 1667 , of which he was one of the last pupils. He painted historical pictures and portraits in the manner of his master. He died in Dordrecht in 1727.
