The Afek Tounes ( Arabic آفاق تونس, DMG Āfāq Tūnis  'Horizonte Tunisiens ') is a political party in Tunisia , which was founded on March 28, 2011 in the wake of the Jasmine Revolution in Tunis .

She entered with a secular and liberal program for the enforcement of civil rights in the elections to the Constituent Assembly , reaching between four seats. The liberal party is mainly popular with the upper class and intellectuals.

One member of the party, Yassine Brahim , has been appointed minister in the Tunisian interim government.

Since the party did not achieve the election goal in the 2011 election, after talks with other secular and liberal parties, Afek Tounes founded the new Republican Party on April 9, 2012 - a party of the center, which the Progressive Democratic Party and the Tunisian Republican Party also joined . In August 2013, Yassine Brahim left the Republican Party and re-established the party. In the first regular election under the new constitution in October 2014, it received 8 of the 217 seats, making it the fifth strongest force. In the 2019 election , she was able to hold two seats.
