Africa Live

The Africa Live benefit concert took place on March 12th and 13th, 2005 in Dakar , Senegal , in the Iba Mar Diop Stadium . The concert was part of the “Roll Back Malaria” campaign and supports the fight against the malaria disease that kills millions of people every year, especially in Africa. It was organized by Youssou N'Dour and had around 50,000 spectators at an entry price of 1000 CFA francs (1.52 euros ).

During the concerts, Mick Csáky and Pierre-Olivier Bardet shot a 120-minute documentary documenting the event.
