Agathe de La Fontaine

Agathe de La Fontaine (born March 27, 1972 in Paris ) is a French actress .

Life

De La Fontaine made his debut in a small role in the Canadian-French comedy Louis 19, le roi des ondes from 1994; in the French war drama Killer Kid from the same year she played one of the bigger roles. She played a bigger role at the side of Mickey Rourke and Angie Everhart in the erotic drama 9½ Weeks in Paris (1997) as well as in the tragic comedy Train of Life (1998), which won prizes at the Venice International Film Festival and the Sundance Film Festival received. In the Italian comedy Io amo Andrea (2000) de La Fontaine played the role of a woman who simultaneously had affairs with a man and with another woman , played by Francesca Neri . After a break of several years, she appeared again in the biopic Butterfly and Diving Bell (2007), which was nominated for several Oscars , Golden Globes and Césars .

On July 3, 2000, De La Fontaine married the French national soccer player Emmanuel Petit ; their daughter was born in March 2002. The marriage was divorced in 2007.
