Agaue (nereid)
Agaue ( old Greek: Ἀγαύη, the venerable ) is in Greek mythology one of the 50 daughters of Nereus and Doris and thus one of the Nereids . She is mentioned in the lists of names of the Nereids by Apollodor, Homer , Hesiod and Hyginus .
In the Dionysiaka of Nonnos it is described how she rides a fish over the waves during the flood sent by Zeus.
