Age of Silence is a Norwegian experimental progressive metal band that was formed in 2004.

Band history

After three publications with their common band Winds brief break Andy Winter , Lars Eikind and Hellhammer Age of Silence. Lars “Lazare” Nedland from Borknagar and Solefald joined the group as singer, while guitarists were Joacim “Extant” Solheim and Helge “Kobbergaard” Haugen from By Pale Light. In 2004 and 2005, The End Records released the album Acceleration and the EP Complications: Trilogy of Intricacy . Another album was announced on the homepage for 2010, but work on it took place in 2015. BP M. Kirkevaag ( Madder Mortem ) and Kris Norris (formerly Darkest Hour ) are the new guitarists, and Mike Young ( Devin Townsend ) is the new bassist . Norris confirmed in April 2016 that a new album should be released.
