Agencja Rynku Rolnego
The Agencja Rynku Rolnego (ARR; German Agricultural Market Agency ) was Poland's state agency for the agricultural market. It was dissolved in 2017.
The authority was under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of Finance . It had to fulfill tasks within the framework of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) of the European Union as well as requirements (e.g. export promotion) at national level.
The agency, founded in June 1990, was initially active in supporting and maintaining economic balance in the field of agricultural food production in Poland. Since 2004 it has been a recognized funding and control institution of the CAP. The headquarters of the ARR was in Warsaw at Ulica Nowy Świat 6/12. Branches were maintained in the 16 Polish voivodships . The managing director of the agency was appointed by the Polish Prime Minister at the request of the Minister of Finance in consultation with the Ministry of Finance.
