Ages (previously AGTrio ) is an Austrian electro house band.

Career

It was founded in 2004 during a joint tour of the founding members Roland von der Aist, Andy Korg & Aka Tell in Novi Sad , Serbia . AGTrio is known for its excessive live performances and remixes by artists like Parov Stelar . After many singles, EPs and remixes, AGTrio released a double album in 2012 called Action , which contains in-house productions and remixes. After touring with their debut album, the band has released a compilation called Reaction , which contains remixes from the past two years. In an interview with The Gap magazine in April 2014, the band confirmed that they are working on their second album.

In December 2014 the band started a new project called Ages and released the album Roots in November 2015.

Charts

AGTrios Countably Infinite feat. M. Zahradnicek entered the charts on May 12, 2012 via the FM4 radio station . The hit stayed in the charts for another seven weeks and reached number 13 in the FM4 annual charts, which was the highest ranking by an Austrian group or musician.

Countably Infinite also entered the German club charts on May 25, 2012. This stayed in the charts for five weeks. The best place was seventh.

AGTrios singles Danzen , Planet Disco and Countably Infinite , as well as their album Action reached number one in the genre charts on iTunes in Austria .

The singles Replay and Things You Wanna Play reached top positions in the dance charts of Canada and the USA.

Awards

In 2010 AGTrio was voted “Soundpark Band of the Year” by the listeners of the FM4 radio station .

In 2012 AGTrio was nominated in the categories "Electronic / Dance" and "FM4 Award" at the Amadeus Austrian Music Award .
