Unit 8 (A8 for short) was the name of a missile project developed in the HVA Peenemünde , which was no longer implemented due to the advancing war situation. The aggregate 8 should have a starting thrust of 340 kN with a take-off mass of 22,370 kg. The diameter should be 1.78 m. The calculated range of the A8 was up to 550 km and more.
