The Aglen Point (English; Bulgarian нос Ъглен nos Aglen ) is a rocky headland of Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . On the north coast of the Ray Promontory in the northwest of the Byers Peninsula , it forms the west side of the entrance to Richards Cove . It is 0.47 km west-northwest of Voyteh Point and 1.6 km east of Essex Point .

British scientists mapped it in 1968, Spanish in 1992 and Bulgarian in 2005 and 2009. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2009 after the town of Aglen in Lovech Oblast in northern Bulgaria .
