Agnes Ponizil

Agnes Ponizil (* 1969 in Dresden ) is a composer , voice performer and jazz singer .

Agnes Ponizil is a qualified composer and music teacher . She studied composition, jazz singing and musical theater directing in Dresden and Vienna . Her songs are inspired by free jazz , new music and world music , but very independent. Her oeuvre as a composer includes chamber music works , film scores , two operas and crossover projects. Concerts took her to various countries in Europe and South America.

As an improvisation musician she worked with Günter Heinz and was on tour with the “Duo fatale” and Gunda Gottschalk .
