Agnes Werhahn

Agnes Werhahn (born August 20, 1957 ) is a German vaulting instructor and lunge guide .

With the vaulters from RSV Neuss-Grimlinghausen alone , she won four world championship gold and five European championship gold. These and numerous other championship medals in group and individual vaulting made her the most successful lunge guide in vaulting worldwide.

Life

Werhahn began vaulting as a child and learned lunging from the age of 14. In 1974 she became a trainer and lunge guide at RSV Neuss-Grimlinghausen , initially for groups, from 1997 exclusively for individual vaulters - including multiple world champion and most successful vaulting artist Nadia Ehning (formerly Zülow). In 2002 Werhahn withdrew from active competitive vaulting. Today she is the state trainer for vaulting in the Rhineland regional association . In 2005 she became the national coach of the Brazilian team.

Werhahn is also active in other equestrian disciplines. As a dressage rider, she competes up to S level . The physiotherapist lives in Neuss .
