Nadia Zülow , married Nadia Ehning (born August 30, 1977 in Neuss ) is a German former vaulting artist . She is three-time world and European champion in the individual ranking.

Career

At the age of eleven, Nadia Zülow was brought into the first team of the RSV in SC 36 Neuss-Grimlinghausen by her trainer Agnes Werhahn . Two years later she completed her first international tournament with the CVI Budapest, where she also met Johnny Fiskbaek, who later became the national coach of vaulting in Sweden, where she trained from 1999 to 2002. The first time she reached a place in the top three at an international tournament in Malmö in 1995 . This was to be followed by six German championship titles , three European championship titles and three world championship titles until she ended her career as a single vaulting artist in 2003. She continues to appear at shows as a vaulting woman. In 2008 she published the book Vaulting - Everything you need to know .

Private

On June 24, 2009, Nadia Zülow married her long-term partner, the German show jumper Marcus Ehning . Their daughter was born in July 2009, and three sons have so far emerged from the marriage.
