Agnes von Montfort-Feldkirch (* around 1330 , † before March 10, 1379 ) was a member of the Montfort family . It played a special role in the history of the Principality of Liechtenstein .

Agnes von Montfort-Feldkirch was the wife of Hartmann III. von Werdenberg-Sargans and Wolfhart I. von Brandis . From her first marriage she had 3 sons: Rudolf VI. von Werdenberg-Sargans , Heinrich V. von Werdenberg-Sargans and Hartmann IV. von Werdenberg-Sargans . Wolfhart IV von Brandis and Ulrich Thüring von Brandis came from the second marriage . After it turned out that the sons from the first marriage could not produce any heirs entitled to inheritance, the sons from the second marriage took over control of the territories of the Counts of Werdenberg-Sargans. As a result, the area of ​​today's Liechtenstein came under the rule of the Barons von Brandis .
