Ahmad Ramzi

Ahmad Ramzi ( Arabic أحمد رمزي, DMG Aḥmad Ramzī ; * 1939 in Casablanca ; † December 19, 2012 in Rabat ) was a Moroccan politician and diplomat .

Career

He obtained his university entrance qualification in Casablanca . He studied medicine at the University of Montpellier , where he received his doctorate in general surgery. From 1963 to 1967 he was director of a hospital in Marrakech . From 1969 to 1972 he was chief physician in Agadir . From April 25, 1974 to March 14, 1975, he was Minister of Health in Ahmed Osman's cabinet . From April 28, 1975 to December 16, 1976 he was ambassador to Baghdad ( Iraq ). He was seated for the city of Agadir in the Moroccan Representative Assembly . From October 10, 1977 to November 5, 1981 he was in the government cabinets of Ahmed Osman and Maati Bouabid , ministers for religious foundations and for Islamic affairs.

In 1986 he was ambassador to Riyadh .

Mohammed VI appointed him on July 15, 2010 . (Morocco) , chairman of the Supreme Council for the Control of State Finances in this office he passed away. He was also known for his encouragement in science and science, he donated his library to the Sharia faculty, and he donated more than seven thousand books to the National Library of the Kingdom of Morocco in Rabat. His son is Karim Ramzi, an artistic photographer
