Ahmet Akgun Albayrak

Ahmet Akgün Albayrak (born February 3, 1932 in Bursa , † June 16, 2006 in Istanbul ) was a Turkish politician of the motherland party ANAP ( Anavatan Partisi ) , who was Minister of State in 1991.

Life

After leaving school, Albayrak worked as a manager and entrepreneur in the private sector. In 1983 he was one of the co-founders of the motherland party ANAP ( Anavatan Partisi ) alongside Turgut Özal and was elected for this in the election of November 6, 1983 as a member of the Grand National Assembly. He was a member of this from the 17th to the end of the 18th legislative period on October 20, 1991.

On June 23, 1991 he was appointed Minister of State (Devlet Bakanı) by Prime Minister Mesut Yılmaz in his first cabinet and was a member of this until the end of Yılmaz's term of office on November 20, 1991. He was married with five children.
